The stay here was nice for a first vacation since covid. The staff was extremely friendly, I will never forget them. The hotel was set in a central area close enough to the mini golf, Riverside Resort, and a sandy beach. It also was to the river or ocean.

The staff were excellent and the location was particularly good on Vancouver Island. I was upgraded to an updated king suite for "housekeeping. - Coffee/tea makers, a multi-channel television, and a dining area were much appreciated.

The cabin had a nice rustic feel, which we really enjoyed. It had that cozy, rustic charm that made us feel right at home. Another great aspect was that the resort is pet-friendly, so we were able to bring our furry family members with us on our vacation. And the pool and water slide were a hit with the kids - they had a blast splashing around and sliding down the water slide all day!
There were a few things that we didn't like about our stay. the cabin was a bit outdated and could use some renovations.
